The main event. Houses here hold families for decades, and the garages keep score: boards, bikes, the trampoline, the boxes from a move two houses ago. The whole-load clearout takes it in one visit.

Two bookings a year against a decade of garage
Avalon households get the standard Northern Beaches allowance: two pre-booked kerbside collections in any twelve months, three cubic metres each, items under 1.8 metres and 40 kilograms, nothing electronic and nothing from a reno. For a couple of tidy loads a year, use it; it's yours.
A proper garage clearout rarely fits that shape. It's six cubic metres before you reach the shelves, half of it is exactly what the scheme refuses, and the pile waits on the verge for the booking date whatever the weather's doing. That's not a criticism of the council; it's just a different tool for a different job.

Steep drives, tight bends, no drama
The north end stacks its streets against the headland, and some of the best garages in Avalon sit a storey below the road or up a driveway that makes visitors nervous. Tell us in the enquiry and we'll bring the smaller truck and quote the carry honestly, inside the one figure.
Whale Beach and Palm Beach are past us on the same run, Bilgola and Newport behind: if the job is anywhere on the northern peninsula, it's a local call, not a special trip.

Do you actually come this far north, or is it a city crew?
The run ends at Palm Beach, not Narrabeen. Avalon is squarely inside the range we work every week: Freshwater to Palm Beach on the coast, Frenchs Forest to Terrey Hills on the ridge. One crew, the whole peninsula, nobody subcontracted.
Can you clear the garage while we're at the beach?
If the garage opens to the driveway and the figure's already agreed, yes. Photos of the swept slab when we're done.
We're clearing Mum's place. Can this go slower?
It should go slower. That's a different job with different manners, and it has its own page: unhurried, discreet, sentimental things set aside before anything else happens.
